Dr. Pasternak is a member of the Crown Council, an association of leading-edge dentists from across North America. Fewer than one in every two hundred dentists qualifies to become a member — an honor held by roughly half of one percent of all dentists in the United States.

Continuing Education

While the state of California requires dentists to take 24 hours of continuing education courses every year to maintain their licensure, Dr. Pasternak routinely attends well over two hundred hours of courses each year. His thirst for knowledge translates into being able to provide his patients with the newest techniques. This commitment to continuous learning keeps Dr. Pasternak and his team on the cutting edge of dentistry.

Community Service

Dr. Pasternak has been constantly involved in the community of Chatsworth since his practice was established. He has served as the charter president of the Kiwanis Club, has served for over fifteen years as a member of the selective service board, and is a lifetime member of the Chatsworth Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as a Cubmaster, Den Leader and Assistant Scoutmaster of local Cub Scout and Boy Scout groups.
